When Education Becomes Digital: The International Experience of a Ukrainian Entrepreneur

Today, digital technologies are transforming not only business but also education. Online learning has become part of a new reality, where knowledge is no longer confined to the walls of a university. This topic was the focus of an international training program in which the Ukrainian entrepreneur Emil Arutyunyan participated in August 2025.

The program, titled “Innovative Digital Tools for Remote Learning of Students in the European Union and Ukraine,”took place in Lublin, Poland, and brought together professionals interested in modern approaches to teaching and knowledge exchange. It was organized by the International Educational and Scientific Foundation (IESF) in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration (ISAP).

Over ten days, participants engaged in hands-on learning of digital tools that help improve communication between teachers and students, increase the efficiency of remote education, and make it accessible to everyone. The program included 45 academic hours, combining lectures, practical exercises, and independent work.

For Emil Arutyunyan, this was not his first international educational experience. He has consistently developed professional competencies in managing social and educational projects, combining theory with practice. He applies the knowledge gained to his own initiatives, paying particular attention to providing young people with access to quality education and fostering modern forms of learning.

This mission unites him with his business partner and president of the Charitable Foundation “Solidarity,” Oleksandr Petrovskyi. Together, they implement programs aimed at supporting students and children who continue their education even under challenging life circumstances. For the foundation’s team, education is not just a field of work but a tool for recovery, development, and future growth. According to the entrepreneurs, technology should serve people, not form — helping them learn, grow, and improve their lives.
